Before you go to Harris Teeter today....

Hi everyone,

I know that Harris Teeter has the double coupons up to $1.98 for this week.  I just want to say that I'm not going there today.  I bet your asking "why are you gonna miss this sale with the coupons?"  Well, if you must know prices at that store is too expensive! They do those promotions to entice you to do your groceries.  I don't know about the others but if you want proof, go to http://www.couponmom.com/ and check the pricelist Harris Teeter.  It would work for some items, but their only 20% to 60% off the regular price.  That is not something I would go "gaga" for. So everyone please be careful.

I would ask you if you could compute your groceries less the coupons (that is up to $1.98) and see if you would spend it there..... I know I wouldn't.  Just a thought!

I want to organize my coupon blog. I will post them in 3 parts. 1. Coupon 101, 2. Shopping reviews, and 3. Stories to share.

1. Coupon 101

This will be a post about tips is using your coupon wisely. It will help shoppers sources to find coupons, How doubling and tripling works, What are the store rules for coupons and How to store them.

2. Shopping reviews

This post will be about my shopping experience (good or bad), from the stores I usually go to everyweek. Kroger is always on the top of my list, next is Walgreens for my toiletress, and the others either Walmart, Farmfresh, or Harris Teeter. So the stores need to be aware of their sales and their service, I'm keeping an eye on you guys!

3. Stories to share

This post will be about me and my family. Exciting, funny, sad, and other unforgettable moments I surely don't want to forget. Hopefully, It is something entertaining to blog about without being to personal.

So there you have it!. My blogs divided in 3 parts. I will be posting more coupon 101 than anything else since I blog for people who needs my help about using coupons. I am here to save the day or ... week, kinda like the weekly ad, you ... get the idea! (lol)

Inventory

I want to show everybody what I have saved in so far. A year and a half ago, I was just doing diapers and wipes. And it grew to make up and mostly toiletress. So far my inventory are as listed:

1. 20 tubes of toothpaste
2. 15 toothbrushes
3. 3 pkgs. of diapers (45 diapers in ea. pkg)
4. 1 box of wipes
5. 6 shaving cream
6. 10 pkg. of razor
7. 3 bags of individual floss (60 pcs in ea. bag)
8. 2 pkg. of paper towel
9. 3 pkg. of toilet paper (12 roll pkg.)
10. 5 bodywash for women
11. 2 bodywash for men
12. 12 bar soaps
and so on and so on...

I sound like I was babbling about what I purchased using the deals and using coupons. I feel so at peace, knowing I could pause for the next 6 mos. til I continue to fill these items. But I should reserve myself with all these sales everyweek and that I have coupons that goes with these sales. I decided to just use $5-$10 a week for toiletress just have some break. It is also tiring to be thinking about these an studying these sales. Its like going to school. I went to Kroger yesterday and even I have all my list and coupons ready, I was tired. I just stared at the aisles and asking myself "what now?!" Nice thing about strategic grocery shopping from stepanie
nelson, I learned a lot. And from Teri Gault's book, she helped watch my food inventory. These ladies empowered me all through out my coupon using and shopping. Thanks a bundle COUPON QUEENS!!!

My first Post

I just thought of doing this blog to help the ladies in my community about saving and using coupons at grocery stores and drugstores. I don't know why it took a while for me to do this since a lot of ladies have approached me about tips. Hopefully, this will consistent like other blogger moms are doing it. Pls. make comments so I can post the stuff that will help them using coupons.
